Although, Ram is known for shooting mostly surfing and other ocean sports i.e kitesurfing, windsurfing, and stand-up-paddling. He also loves action photography - Shooting other adventure and actions sports like skateboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking, and dirt biking. It's his strong penchant towards adventures and being outdoors that has made him one of country's top action sports photographers.

Ram says to be a successful action photographer, one needs to have a certain amount of adrenaline rush and passion to capture the action of an athlete performing a sport at his or her peak, showcasing different emotions, landscape, environment, and play of light.

In a country like India, a number of action and adventure sports are still at its nascent level and hence there are fewer opportunities to produce great images consistently but there is no dearth of epic landscapes, geographical locations, and talent.
